James King, an aspiring artist, is kidnapped, held against his will, and released after seven days. Upon his release, he seeks the help of psychologist Dr. Jazmine Whitlock to assist him in dealing with all that he endured while being held captive. During their sessions, Dr. Whitlock discovers that James possibly developed Stockholm Syndrome. Things begin to go haywire when Dr. Whitlock begins not only falling for James, but also feeling as if she's being pulled into the same room where he was held. Eventually, both of their pasts collide, nothing is as it seems, and the only way to find out the truth is for more people to be kidnapped. But how do you force the truth out of someone with Stockholm Syndrome?
