Ella has been married once before, but was cast off and divorced by her jerk of a husband, Paul. Longing for a home of her own, she accepts the proposal from Joseph Tutton, and travels to Tombstone, hoping her new husband will be kinder than her first.
To Ella’s distress, one of the men at the ranch becomes obsessed with her. When Ella refuses his advances, he threatens to send Joseph to jail if she speaks out. Not knowing what he has on Joseph, Ella keeps quiet, only able to share with her new friend, Sophie.
