Laney has been engaged to William, an up and coming artist from a reputable family, for over a year now and dating for three. They both work as artists in their own studio, creating beautiful work together, but when she learns she’s pregnant with his twins, he packs up and runs—far.

Her business—their business—is losing more and more customers and now she’s on her own, struggling to create the works of art she used to without her inspiration—him. But when his twin brother, Rory, learns of his brother’s betrayal, he takes Laney in, covering all costs of her pregnancy until she can get back on her feet. She moves in with him to his farm where he trains and rides the most expensive racing horses in all of the United States. As she begins to heal, she’s finding new inspiration from Rory and his farm, her art taking on a life of its own, her business picking up and her life back on track. But when she moves out into her own place, her inspiration is gone and her life seems hollow.

She realizes she had fallen in love with Rory and races back to find him and tell him. But his family isn’t happy about her or her babies and wants her to disappear, bribing her to leave their sons alone.

But will Rory stand up for Laney? Or will he let the family get their way?
