The Glass by Elizabeth Ann Trigg
Emma is dismayed when Lance seems distant after they return from Hawaii. When she gets called to the hospital, her relationship gets sidetracked while an ex barely clings to life. Facing Lance at work afterwards is beyond awkward. When Emma realizes that Lance is the first person she's truly loved since Tank, is it too late for them to repair their relationship, and is it worth hurting everyone else involved? Maybe it's time for a fresh start, if Lance will let her have one, that is. She's beginning to believe her proverbial glass is not just empty, it's also broken. Even working on her movie isn't enough of a distraction anymore. She just needs to buckle down and and make the smart choice--as soon as she can figure out what that smart choice is.
