Gutta And India, A Hood Story by Tamala Cornish
I'ma big believer in finishing what you started. A person’s true destiny can only be revealed at the end of his journey. And the story I have to tell, is far from over..."
Gerald “Gutta” Williams is fresh out of Gander Hill Prison. After biting a bullet for a crime he didn't do, he is released, and ready to take the world by storm. Gutta is a new man with old tricks, and is called back to the same streets that put him on. Once realizing his family is still depending on him financially, he rekindles with some old friends who had his back before he went in.
With a crooked police officer as his father, his name quickly rings bells in the small city of Wilmington.
His mom’s put her addiction behind her and she fears for the safety of her three boys. Gutta, on the other hand, seems to have everything under control.
In life, you can't control who you love, but falling for a local kingpin's daughter wasn't part of the plan.
As the street life changes, old faces become deceased and new faces arrive on the scene. Bringing a new guy to the team was never in the plans either. But all hell seems to break loose when Cuts, a local drug pusher, shows up.
Will Gutta lose himself to save his family? Will love conquer all, or prove to be disloyal? They said be careful of the company you keep...
Welcome to my hood!
