In an attempt to control his shrewish wife and save his marriage, Stan Bergstrom enforces a Domestic Discipline agreement with the help of a marriage manual written by Penelope Wiggins, the author of How to Be a Submissive Wife. Though their sex life heats up, Stan still wants more emotional intimacy with his wife. On the advice of Ms. Wiggins he implements a last ditch strategy to save his marriage.
