The Cowboy From Sierra Blanca: A Western by R. Annan
In the savage, dry lands of south Texas known as the Nueces, cattle rancher Nate Lamont is plagued by rustlers. Worse than the rustlers, however, are the notorious hide-peelers who leave skinned carcasses decaying in the sun. His small group of special cowboys called ‘trackers’ are losing the battle. When Lamont signs on a handsome young cowboy named Jim Blackwell, things quickly change. Blackwell is a one-man demolition team, fast on a horse and faster with a gun.
When Lamont’s beautiful granddaughter, Alice Fuller, comes to visit from New York, she and the kid get all tangled up and the sparks begin to fly.
All the Circle L cowhands can’t wait to see who’ll come out on top, headstrong Alice or fast draw Jim Blackwell. A love-hate battle shakes the hills of the Nueces.
The Cowboy from Sierra Blanca is an old-fashioned western full of action and romance.
