Right on Target by Blue Sky Books
Jeremy Shaw is waiting to be deployed again.

He’s given his life to the National Guards, his hands itch to hold a gun, and to march with his platoon.

That’s the only way of life he knows. While he waits though, he must visit his family, make sure his parents are well.

That also means of course that he’ll have to fend off all their fears and worries, pretend that he has a steady relationship that is keeping him sane.

That they have nothing to worry about.

Alison Park has spent the last two years working on a novel which she is afraid she’ll never be able to complete.

At a last ditch attempt, she leaves her life in New York behind to hide herself away in the quiet of Longstreak Island and finish the book.

On the way she meets a troubled soldier, a man she is immediately attracted to.

When they reach the island, Jeremy’s family quickly presumes that Alison is the girlfriend Jeremy has been speaking about for so many years.

That they’ve finally met the woman who has managed to tame Jeremy. The assumption works, it’s convenient.

But it also means that they now have to sleep in the same bed, hold hands and pretend like they’re in love.

Which is especially troublesome, because Jeremy Shaw is the hottest guy Alison has ever met.
