You Ain't The Only One, Trying To Be The Only One by Ash Ley
Since the moment Quincy laid eyes on Gia, all he wanted was to protect her. From their initial encounter, it was obvious that life had dealt her an unlucky hand. Knowing that no one else would help her, he proudly took on that responsibility.

During one of his attempts to aide Gia, the two have a falling out, resulting in them parting ways for the moment. Once their issues get resolved a while later, it becomes difficult for the pair to ignore the lingering feelings that they have for one another. Beginning a romantic relationship would be the sensible thing for them to do, but there was one thing standing in their way; Quincy's wife, Raquel.

Ava is a young woman who knows heartache all too well. After being emotionally damaged from her last relationship, Ava was desperate for love. Sleeping around with any man offering her just a fraction of their heart, she unexpectedly ends up pregnant. Deciding it is for the best that she raises her daughter alone, she completely isolates herself from any man wanting her attention. Especially the ones involved in the streets, like her ex was. That is until she meets Zac.

Although he is everything she was hoping to avoid in a mate, she can't deny the chemistry the two share. Despite his rugged exterior, Zac has a heart of gold. The last thing he expected after doing a two-year bid was a serious relationship. Meeting Ava changed things for him, though. The two fall for each other but due to Ava's past pain, she is afraid to completely give all of herself to Zac.

With Quincy and Ava both dealing with their confused feelings due to their unfortunate circumstances, there is sure to be a ton of chaos. What they don't know is that it will be coming from those they think are closest to them. Find out what happens when emotions get out of control, ultimately leading to more conflict than either of them could imagine.
