Unforgettable by Max Hudson
Three teenagers. One wild, American road trip. And one search for truth on the west coast, without knowing that the future of their love, struggles, hopes and dreams is already written. It’s been their destiny, forever.

Jacob and Monica Masters are dark and brooding teenage twins, driving fast and loose across the mad American continent after running away from home. They save a similarly wild boy from bullies somewhere beneath the mountains of Colorado. Jacob and Peter’s instant chemistry is a source of light and constant confusion for Jacob—becoming the very reason for his existence, even without Peter’s physical touch.

But the road trip must come to an end, as must their wide-eyed dreams, with the three separate entities spinning out into separate trajectories, separate storylines.

Ten years after that fateful road trip, Jacob accepts a job back in the Bay Area, joining his failing artist sister on the bright west coast. Another chance encounter with the now-successful painter, Peter, forces Jacob into a flurry of emotions and fascinations. The intensity between them is still locked in place, as if it was frozen in time.

For the first time since that road trip, ten years before, Jacob must question who he is, and who he really wants to be. He must push himself to become a better brother, as his wild, crazed sister dives deeper into the sinister world of failing, druggie artists in San Francisco. And he must challenge himself to accept real love, when it’s right there in front of him, despite fear.
