A three-toed wolf was terrorizing Luke Granger’s sheep, and he was determined to put an end to it—that is, until Abigail Dayton, showed up from Fish & Wildlife, ranting about how wolves had as much right as sheep to protection. Luke felt a little predatory himself, whenever he was around her.
