First Lady To A Dope Boy by Bridgette I'esha
Sharnese Jackson always wondered what it was like to experience love. Growing up with a mother who was scorned, all she ever received was pain. The abuse she endured at the hands of the woman who was supposed to love and protect her turned her heart cold. Every man that approached her, she turned down. She refused to let anyone inside her heart. That was until she met Murda. Green to the hood life, Sharnese has no idea how quickly her world is about to be turned upside down when she happens to fall in love with a dope boy.
Born into the world raised by a Pimp/ drug dealer for a father and former prostitute as a mother Cortez “Murda” Rodriguez is taught the dope game early in life. Being the biggest dope-boy in Brooklyn is no easy task when there are people determined to take him out.
Murda becomes infatuated with Sharnese from the very first day he lays eyes on her. Her looks, personality and the things she desired in life had him wanting to know more about the beauty. With an ongoing war in the streets, he knew Sharnese was the last thing he should’ve been focused on, but there was something about her that was different. While most women only found love in his money, she was interested in getting to know the real him. Not the savage and dope boy that everyone knew him as. Sharnese believes Murda is her knight in shining armor…. That’s until his double life is revealed.
Left once again with a cold heart, Sharnese takes some time to get over Murda and ends up meeting Kas. Not wanting to jump into a new relationship. They start off as friends. Unaware that Kas is Murda’s number one enemy in the streets.
Unbeknownst to both Murda and Kas, information is leaked that could either end their war or spark new flames. Can one secret end a street war or will it cause even more chaos? Will Sharnese be able to accept what happens when she becomes the First Lady to A Dope Boy?
