The first installment ended with Emani’s secret coming out, and now it’s time to tie up some loose ends and set some things straight. She is not who she claims to be, and everyone now knows it. Even though she tried to keep her past in the past, it was now coming back to haunt her. Who exposed Emani? Who wants to see her hurt so badly?

Emani already knew that messing with Vonn wouldn’t end well, but she never in a million years thought that someone would expose her secret just to hurt her. She now has to decide if she should run and hide from her past or stay and stand her ground in order to be with the one she loves.

Vonn was falling had for Emani, but once he finds out her secret, what will he do? The man in him is screaming for him to handle Emani like a man in the streets, while his heart is tugging at him to follow through and love her. Loyalty and trust are high on Vonn’s list, but everyone around him was proving to be disloyal in every way. First, his friend has been deceptive in messing with his girl, and then he finds out that Emani isn’t who she claims to be. How can the man in him still be with Emani?

Netta really wants Vonn for herself and is willing to do anything to get him. She thinks she has what it takes to be on the arm of a young boss like Vonn, but his mind is far away from her. All he wanted was Miss Collins. What will Netta do to destroy obstacle in the way of her getting to Vonn Benton?

Kita is pregnant and stuck without Vonn. She has Cole, who promises to do right by her and her unborn baby, but it means nothing because it’s not Vonn. The only thing standing in her way of having one big happy family is Miss Collins. Kita has to come up with a way to get Vonn away from Miss Collins so she can have the family that she planned with Vonn.

In the finale, secrets are revealed, loyalty doesn’t mean anything, and hearts are crushed. While Emani and Vonn seem to want each other, there are just too many issues in the way that they aren’t sure they will be able to get past. Emani didn’t want much in life. She only wanted to be loved and accepted for who she is, and once she finds that in Vonn, she seems to lose it just as fast. She knew that working at her old high school would be a challenge, but she never expected that catching feelings for a young boss would be the cause of so much heartache.
