Some say love is the most beautiful thing in the world. Clearly, they had never been in love with Sosa McKenzie. Even though he had left her heart destroyed, Sy'anna risked her own life to save his. But at what cost? Stuck between knowing what's right and doing what's wrong, with a broken heart, Sy'anna must move on with her life after Sosa savagely tore it all apart. Picking up the pieces, Sy'anna pushes her relationship with Sosa to the back of her mind. But what else could possibly go wrong for Sy'anna? Everything. The consequences of falling in love with Sosa leaves Sy'anna in a devastating position. The one thing that gave her life fulfillment comes crashing down. Sy'anna must deal with her failing career at the same time as she must deal with Sosa's madness. No longer accepting the role of victim in Sosa's torture fantasy, she must become a savage herself in order to protect her inner peace and carry on with her life.

Sosa had never been openly in love before. So, what are the chances that the one time he allows his heart to feel something even remotely close to love, he wishes he hadn't? Between his growing beef on the streets, recovering from the attempt on his life, and his broken heart; Sosa can only take so much more before the savage in him resurfaces. Inflicting the same pain on everyone who has wronged him was his plan, starting with Sy'anna. To him, she was the worst offender of them all. Having thrown away their relationship in a poor attempt to save her career, she disregarded Sosa's feelings. Things for Sosa worked in his favor until a tragedy shakes his entire world. No one is safe from his rampage, and those who crossed him are in for a rude awakening. If you're not for Sosa, then you are definitely against him.

Nadine and Dayton can't seem to figure out what they have. Neither are willing to commit for personal reasons. Nadine isn't exactly sure that Dayton is worth the energy, especially after dealing with one of his flings. Dayton, on the other hand, is afraid of commitment and skeptical of falling in love partially due to the drama surrounding his cousin, Sosa. When Nadine tries to pull herself from Dayton, he pushes forward. In their love tug-of-war, it's unclear who will be victorious.

When your heart is broken, you have two choices: get over it and move on, or allow it to swallow you into the deep, dark, bottomless pit. As this story continues, find out what happens when the young lovers no longer have any choices and must simply follow their hearts.
