Your Love Was Breaking The Law: A Domestic Violence Anthology
Sometimes love hurts and it could be a good thing and then sometimes love hurts like really hurts to the point I can’t breathe or move for that matter. I never thought love would hurt this bad but when your lover no longer loves you bad things happen. Domestic Violence is real and “love” shouldn’t blind you are being hurt.
Take a ride through the lives of the woman who have been abused and accused of everything in the name of love.
On average, nearly twenty people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than ten million women and men. One in three women and one in four men have been victims of some form of physical violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime. On a typical day, there are more than 20,000 phone calls placed to domestic violence hotlines nationwide.
Some people make it out and live to tell their story. Others aren’t so fortunate and die at the hands of their abuser, leaving loved ones hurt and confused.
For those who have been affected by relationship abuse, those who are currently in abusive relationships, and those who are working to heal, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline:
