Michelle stood in front of the mirror preparing for her date with Jacques Morales, a guy she had met at a mixer she had attended with Angel. He was gorgeous and worked as a scientific consultant. He was in his late twenties and seemed to have a bit of a crush on Angel but Michelle really didn’t care at all about that. Angel was in love with her brother Michael and Michelle was hot to trot. She hadn’t seen Dirk, her brother’s best friend since Michael had shown up at Dirk’s apartment a couple of months earlier. She had really enjoyed the white boy and now she was on to Spanish and some other exotic flavor. Her one lover in college had been black and she was proving she had no preference; she just wanted what she wanted. She had done her thing by attending college; she was currently taking advanced classes in chemistry and had a job that would lead to a great career. At twenty-two she was ready to have a great time. Puckering her lips she kissed herself in the mirror. She knew she looked good with her short sassy haircut; she had also gotten her brows threaded and a facial. Her dark bronze skin glowed. She was ready to go. Tasha had gotten married and was due any day and Michael and Angel were getting married in a month. All she could say is good luck to them. Tasha was ten years older than her and Angel twelve and she would just as soon wait that long as well. She was not trying to be yoked, just stroked!
