Sy-taj and Platinum: Loving A Gangsta by Natisha Raynor
Platinum grew up middle class and spoiled by her father, a hard working plastic surgeon. She wanted for nothing but she has a thing for street guys that even her best friend Ace doesn't understand. When Platinum's boyfriend is sent to prison she's heartbroken and for almost a year, she remains single, but Platinum knows that she must eventually go on with her life and oddly enough, her fascination with thugs hasn't changed in the least.

Sy-taj grew up in a house full of women and he watched them run game on men his whole life. Sy-taj wasn't the best looking or most popular teen and for that reason, he didn't have much experience with women. By the time Sy-taj grew into his looks and started getting money, the women were coming in abundance and his mother made sure to let him know, they were only around for the money.

Because of his upbringing and insecurities, Sy-taj doesn't know how to handle Platinum. She's beautiful and has her own money and he can't believe that she really wants him for him. This causes Sy-taj to mistreat her and his behavior may cause him to lose the only woman he's ever loved.
