In the Midst of a Hurricane by C.L. Pardington
Emory University student, Remy Lockwood, led a privileged life on his family’s plantation in Savannah, GA. All he wanted was a week of fun with his best friend when he hit Miami Beach for Spring Break, and a chance to get away from his soon-to-be-ex-girlfriend, Willow. He never thought that his decision to get away would lead to Davina Romero, a waitress struggling to put herself through school at Johnson and Wales University. Sparks fly and unavoidable attraction consume them; however, Willow isn’t about to let go and is willing to do anything to derail any chance of a future between Remy and Davina.

Time, jealousy, and mistrust are all tough foes to fight, and Remy and Davina’s fates seem determined to tear them apart.

Will tragedy and disaster brought on by Mother Nature bring them together?
