Love in the City by Lillianna Blake, P. Seymour
Why couldn’t love be easy?

Blu Parker had been through some ups and downs since her return to the city.

And it was fun celebrating all the milestones with her friends. They’d all been through so much together.

Finally, her life seemed to be going in a clear direction. But was it really the direction she wanted to take?

Author Interview:

A lot of your readers seem to relate to your curvy characters on a deeper level. Was that the intention when you came up with the concept for Single Wide Female and your other series?

Both my co-author and myself have struggled with our weight. We understand what it feels like to have the negative talk going on in our heads—how difficult it can be to push past that.

Our aim with all of our chick lit series is to inspire women through humor. We love that our readers connect to the deeper message that reminds us that we are meant to be living our lives to the fullest today—not waiting until a certain number appears on the scale or our lives are more perfect in some way.

Some of our favorite reviews and e-mails are ones in which readers let us know that they’ve been so inspired by Sammy that they’ve started their own bucket lists.

Who would enjoy this series?

We think a lot of women can relate to our curvy characters, but it’s not just for women who struggle with weight issues.

If you like light-hearted, fun, romantic comedies, you’ll love The Bride Tribe series. It’s the perfect summer beach read!

You have quite a long list of books and series. Where should readers start?

We encourage readers to start with Single Wide Female. The Alex in Onederland and The Bride Tribe series could be read at any time, but there is a fun intersection of the characters, Samantha and then Alex throughout all the series.
