Magnus: A Time Travel Romance by Joanna Bell

A troubled young woman falls through a portal to the past, and on the other side a war-hardened Viking warrior will stop at nothing to keep her there.

This is Heather Renner's story...

1983. River Falls, New York. I'm a wild child. Trouble in a miniskirt. I'll never amount to anything. No man will ever want to marry me.

That's what they say, anyway. And then they send me to the middle of nowhere, New York, to stay with family I barely know. I'm 22 years old, hurting and confused, and they abandon me to strangers! What the hell am I going to do out here? Take up hunting or wood carving? My life is over.

And then one day I tumble into a place that doesn't look anything like the world I know. The people are dressed in rags, they don't have cars or telephones or ghetto blasters - and they live in fear of the 'Northmen.'

Fearsome warriors, brutal killers, savages. That's what they say. But I know better than most that 'they' aren't always right. When the Northmen arrive, I don't flee with the others. No, I stay right where I am, eye to eye with the biggest, most intimidating man I've ever laid eyes on...

Author's Note: This is the fourth book in the Mists of Albion series by Joanna Bell, set in 1983 before the other novels take place. It is recommended, though not necessary, to read Books 1-3 first. 'Magnus' contains adult themes and language and is meant for mature readers.
