King Adelbert is a proud dragon king, and despite being told what he must do to save his people, he can’t do it. He can’t go through the transformation and bear children even to save his kingdom. He still isn’t over the death of his wife or sons, but Kasamir keeps pushing.

Kasamir is ruthlessly logical and keeps pushing that they have sex and create a few children to bring life back into the land.
If nothing happens in the next five years, everyone in the land is going to die.

Adelbert is stubborn and prideful, and does not want to surrender his body for the greater good. Kasamir has to convince him that he does love him and that he wants more than just children from Adelbert.

After observing the behavior between Azar and Jacoby, he wonders if he has been approaching the king wrong. He decides to take a different tact.
