Q: Why do you write?

A: It’s a calling. Characters and stories swirl around in my head, and I have to get them down on paper. Writing takes me to another world where I tap into my creativity. That process is amazing to experience, and while I’m working on one book, plots and ideas form for the next. Raising a family and working meant I had to squeeze in writing time, but it’s always been a big part of me. It keeps my mind active and my imagination fresh.

Q: What books do you write?

A: Currently, I write romantic suspense.  I love to create deliciously evil villains, but keep violence to a minimum. My books tend to be on the lighter side, focusing more on the romance, but with subplots that keep the pages turning. I’ve completed three books in the Love Beyond Danger series and may try my hand at a contemporary series next.

Q: Why should readers pick up your books?

A: My books are unique. Not the typical romantic suspense. It’s very hard to find anything on the shelf like them. I’m told that people read my books in one day. They have plot twists, secrets, and deep characters. I work hard at creating solid secondary characters who bring even more emotion to the story. If a reader likes to be surprised along the way and enjoys wit, tender moments, and suspense, my books deliver.
