Myia and Solo: A Ratchet City Love Story

Myia Efferson was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, better know as Ratchet City. After losing her parents to a fatal car accident at a young age, she was raised by her overprotective brother, Jeremy, who made her strive to be the best of the best. He kept her out of drama and head first in her books. Myia's life was going great. She had her own car, shared a house with her brother, and was so close to graduating college with a degree in Creative Writing. That was all before she met Solo and fell madly in love with him. Myia eventually allows her emotions to get the best of her and Solo must face the consequences of her lapse in judgment. Without Solo by her side, Myia's world gets turned upside down.

Solo Jameson was a street thug from Sunset, a hood that had been at war with the hood Myia's resided in, Cedar Grove. He'd gone his whole life running with the wrong crowd, but when he met Myia, his mind frame started to change. He barely graduated high school, but he wasn't going to let that stop him from getting out of the hood and taking Myia with him. Solo has to leave his woman vulnerable to not only her enemies but all of his as well in order to secure her future.

With Myia and Solo's hoods hating each other over previous beef, it made it hard for them to really spark anything between the two of them. They settled upon a friendship, but not even that satisfied them. Even with their feelings for each other growing stronger and stronger each day, they still manage to keep their budding relationship at a standstill but what will happen when it all blows up in their face? Myia and Solo's road to happiness is a rough one, but if they manage to keep it on lock, it will be well worth the wait. When the tables finally turn, and their luck finally begins to change, will Myia and Solo get their happy ending?
