Good Morning, Delicious by Vicki Keener
LAURA FIELDING, class valedictorian, attends a beach party graduation night, drinks two beers and has sex for the first and only time which results in the birth of her daughter, Polly. Laura never sees or hears from Polly's father again.

Laura's supportive parents allow her to live at home, raise her child and do her college work online. More than seven years later, armed with a Master's Degree in finance, Laura is offered a position five hours from home with a large company in Philadelphia, the Lincoln Group.

She and Polly move to a rented house in Haven Crest to begin her new job. The evening she and Polly move into their house, CHAZ LINCOLN, the CEO, calls her and begs her to drop everything because he's just been told there's an IRS audit being done the following Monday.

When he arrives at her door, Laura is struck by his good looks, but since she hasn't been touched by a man since that one night so long ago, she knows she'd be no match for him. Polly, however, has different ideas and sees him as the daddy she's been longing for.

Chaz is drawn to Polly and Laura. At thirty-one, he knows he wants a family, but hasn't found the one he'd want to be with, until them. Laura tells him her story and he questions whether he wants to be the man to teach a grown woman like Laura the intimacies of love, but when she tells him she's ready to start dating and experimenting, he's horrified to think of her in the arms of another man.

At first timid, nervous and afraid, Chaz leads her to appreciate the subtlety of love making rather than raw sex. He's amazed at the sensual woman he's awakened and falls in love with her. He adores Polly and the feeling is mutual. When he asks her to marry him after knowing her for such a short time, she hesitates, but he's who she wants.

Will their hasty marriage erupt with problems they hadn't expected and can they make it work? Will Polly suffer from what she sees and hears from them?
