Dark Dawn by Melissa Brodsky, Nicole Andrews Moore
In the beginning God made the heavens, the earth, and the in between. Every action causes a reaction and when mankind was born, so were the Fae. It was life’s way of maintaining the gentle balance between light and dark, good and evil. Soon Adam and Eve were being tempted by the Fae with fruit from the Tree of Life. Fruit that God had strictly forbidden his Earth children to eat. Suddenly it was up to Heaven to save Earth. God created Angels to right his wrong, to save human kind from destruction. Each angel bore a special gift. Seth was an empath. Gus had visions of the past, present, and future. Caim possessed incredible fighting ability. Anna had the power of healing. Elijah was given the sword of Justice and inhuman strength. And Zoey could see the truth. Together, The Guardians protected humans from the Fae who intentionally enslaved them, leaving shells of their former selves. Or worse, they left nothing at all.

Even God doesn’t always learn from mistakes. Angels were given free will, just like the humans they were sent to protect. After thousands of years, they tired of following the rules. If they ever wanted to truly live, they had to end the Fae. Despite thousands of years of effort, they were no closer now than they were at the dawn of time, until an old relic came to light. Little did The Guardians know, Pandora’s Box held the key. In the hands of a direct descendant of Eve, Pandora’s Box would become the weapon that could end the time of Fae on Earth, if it didn’t destroy The Guardians in the process.
