Beneath a Crimson Moon by Christine Michels
BENEATH A CRIMSON MOON was written in response to readers who, after reading ASCENT TO THE STARS in which they were briefly introduced to a female Thadonian warrior named Singaia, requested her story.

THE LADY WARRIOR:
Deep undercover to infiltrate a smuggling ring, Singaia, a beautiful young warrior, had no time for anything except protecting her people by stopping the flow of banned Earth weapons to primitive Thadonia–until she was attacked by deadly assassins. But Gaia’s mission, and her life, would have come to a sudden end if it weren’t for the timely help of a mysterious black-clad Guardian. Never before had Singaia seen such a perfect–if infuriating–man. But the muscular, menacing stranger hadn’t come upon her by chance...

THE GUARDIAN:
Daemon Quinn had his own mission, and he planned to take Singaia with him... whether she wanted to go or not. A man haunted by the past, he immersed himself in his investigative work, and Singaia was at the center of his investigation. His battle of wits with Singaia soon became a battle for them to stay alive, but nothing was as dangerous as the undeniable attraction the two felt for each other...BENEATH A CRIMSON MOON.
