The stories and archeology of the Immortal Lover are older than time as we know it. Older than our very universe. All things can not seen nor measured through our limited perception of reality. Some must be felt rather than seen for they no longer exist. Many worlds existed, lived, and have fallen long before our creation. He came not on his own free will but stayed on his own free will. He stayed for the love of a woman.

Even in the days of his life as a heavenly prince, later a as heavenly warrior and as a king and progenitor of an entire race. His exotic beauty was said to be exipotic.

We know before his fall from grace he was said to be extraordinary. He know his name was Azazael not Azazel as we come to know it.

However due to the incredibility of the ancient historiasters (old spelling of historians) we know very little about him outside a few archaic texts. These are his stories. In how he became the legendary, otherworldly “The Immortal Lover.”

“All gods who receive homage are cruel. All gods dispense suffering without reason. Otherwise they would not be worshipped. Through indiscriminate suffering men know fear and fear is the most divine emotion. It is the stones for altars and the beginning of wisdom. Half gods are worshipped in wine and flowers. Real gods require blood.”

― Zora Neale Hurston, Their Eyes Were Watching God

The Immortal Lover

Down through the ages of human history and many other worlds his name has been heard and often feared. He's known by many names; king of hell, demon, destroyer, all which is that wrong with the world. But many have known him in a different light. A tender light, a side of him rarely shown. He's the epic lover that legends are made from. Many believe he may have been Casanova, himself. Some say he's actually Eros. But only a few have known for sure and lived to tell the story.

This incredibly handsome man, graced with flawless teakwood skin accented by a magnificent mane of versicolored, flowing hair is like none other. His capability to seduce any woman, mortal or immortal, is what has made him a legend before the creation of our world. According legend, his cerulean gemstone-like, azure eyes are totally mesmerizing. Do not glance into them for too long or your soul and body will become all his.

To their dismay and often demise many have loved him. He takes love but rarely sincerely gives it. His hands and lips are sweltering hot, but his heart is ice cold. His heart is unable to be captured for it belongs to another. One he pledged it to long ago. One he has sought since he lost her. Knowing the legend of his long love many believed they were she only to be disappointed. Down through the ages many have paid a tragic price for daring to fall in love with him. After all, he once ruled hell with an iron fist, so it has been proven he has a heart as hard as stone.

He has existed in every society as an Emperor, a Ruler, a Chief, a King, a prince, a Warrior king, a Duke, a Marquis, an Earl, a Count, a Viscount, or a Baron but most often as god. He felt he didn't allow heaven to tell him what to do so he most definitely wasn't taking orders from creatures beneath him.

During his many years of absence, many have worn the name. Committed horrendous deeds in the name of it. These actions have led the worlds to believe there are many different heavenly princes by this dreadful name. But all who know the truth knows there's only one Azazael whom we know as Azazel.
