Taste for Coffee by Francine Beaton

Never trust a man who doesn't like coffee.

Maybe Kirstine Brown should have heeded her grandfather's advice before she let Iain Young get under her skin. From the first time he stood in the doorway of Joe's Coffee House, she had known he was trouble. The billionaire businessman proved her right—but only after she made the mistaking of letting him get too close.

When his father passed away, Iain Young inherited more than just the majority share in Young's Property Developers. He also inherited Cairistìne Court, a building in the heart of Edinburgh's Leith district and a stubborn tenant who refused to move. Kirstine Brown was adamant that she had a valid contract—one his father entered into with Joe Brown which prohibits Iain from selling the building unless Joe's Coffee House moved voluntarily. When he discussed the confusing contract his father entered into with Joe's Coffee House, Kirsty Brown's lawyer told Iain that he would find the answer as to why his father did that, in Joe's. Unwillingly at first, Iain started to frequent Joe's in the hope to get an answer.

Iain found more than he bargained for. When he realized that he was falling for the blond barista, he knew that he needed a big gesture to convince Kirsty of his intentions. All he needed was patience until it was the right time.

Unfortunately, secrecy, like most things, can cause misunderstandings. Throw in an ex who wanted Iain back, a greedy employee who did everything in his power to sabotage Kirsty, and Iain had his work cut out for him.

Would Iain's big gesture be enough to finally Kirsty's heart?
