After failing to find a job that uses his culinary school education, Jake feels like a total loser. He works a dead-end job and lives with his parents. His only side hustle is running a semi-successful baking blog under the guise of a woman. Because, well, no one wants to learn baking from a lanky man. So when his alter ego, Nicole, gets an invite to appear on live television, he asks his friend, Michelle, to step in and pretend to be Nicole. She points out one problem, though. She can't bake. It looks like Jake's only chance at financial freedom is to go on as Nicole, himself.

Michelle has the makeup and clothing know-how and is eager to change the direction of her relationship with Jake. But Michelle is about to find out that there is some competition at the TV studio. The bossy female producer knows their secret and has a strange request to keep it under wraps. Jake stands to lose everything he's worked for, and there's only one way out unscathed. Will he take it?

This story is 9,000 words and approximately 45 pages long.
