"I have to admit that as far back as I can remember he was the man that I wanted. The man that had been haunting my dreams. We were friends, I had met him through my brother. My brother's best friend at that. I always hoped that we would be together. My mother was the one who had told me that we would look cute together, but I didn't take it too much to heart. If he wanted me all he had to do was say so. If he wanted something more than friendship he should've known by now how I felt. Actions speak louder than words and I knew that it would have to take some miracle to get what I wanted for Christmas. Something that money couldn't buy. Love. I was a romantic at heart. Always had been, I was pretty and I liked attention but that wasn't who I was. I was a woman who craved the love that you only saw in movies and I was beginning to wonder if maybe, just maybe my time had run out for the kind of romance that I envisioned."
