A Very Fairy Christmas
by Jane Tara
The last thing Paige expects for Christmas is to be told she’s half Fey.
Paige’s father was a very nice man, who died before she was born. That was what she’d been told and nothing more. But now, Paige’s extremely practical, god-fearing mother Jean is in hospital after having her hip replaced, and decides Paige needs to know the truth. And apparently the truth is that Jean was wild and beautiful once. In fact, she was such a knockout that the King of the Fairies fell madly in love with her, resulting in Paige.
•Paige who is now the wrong side of fifty.
•Paige who runs a bookshop and is divorced.
•Paige, who absolutely does not believe in fairies.
But this Christmas, everything Paige believes is about to change. Which is exactly what Jean wants for her rather unimaginative daughter. That, and a nice man… which is where Jean’s outrageously attractive physiotherapist, Arley comes in.
•Arley who thinks Jean is telling the truth.
•Arley who thinks Paige should go looking for her fairy father.
•Arley who has a chest you could land a plane on.
And because Arley turns Paige into a blushing mess whenever they speak… she stupidly agrees to go searching for fairies… with him.
And that’s when Paige gets more than she ever expected for Christmas.
