Waking up Dead

When Carmen suddenly finds himself dead at the age of thirty, he's angry. This wasn't how his life was supposed to end. He had dreams and goals, he wanted to fall in love someday.

Zeb is a crossover angel, sent to assist the newly deceased in adjusting to being dead and help them into Heaven. He loves his job, but he's always been searching for something more — his soulmate.

When the two meet, Zeb knows there is something different about Carmen, but Carmen is too upset about dying to understand that there is still so much more for him to experience. Carmen must face the reality that he's dead before Zeb can be sure that the one person he's searched centuries for is finally within his grasp.
