Beauty Beyond Understanding

Abandoned by her brother, and only known relative, Seraphina Beaumont lives alone in a cabin in the woods on the outskirts of Blessings, CA. Because of a mysterious condition, she only goes out at night, wears a cape to cover her skin, and is adept at making healing tinctures and salves—all qualities that have led the people of Blessings to label her a witch. She’s resigned herself to a life of loneliness and misunderstanding when she runs into the prodigal brother of her only friend as he returns to Blessings. His horse knocks her down and injures her shoulder, but could this dark, handsome stranger be the one to heal her heart?


Geoff Farnsworth has been wayward for the last five years, hiding from his future and his family in saloons and gambling halls. A near-death experience fills him with the sudden desire to understand his history—which he can only do by returning home to Blessings to confront the family he abandoned. But along the way, he meets someone who needs to understand family even more than he.

Geoff and Seraphina first must learn to trust in order help one another. But as each come close to understanding their past, it is the future that clouds their thoughts.
