Ann Hollick is a hot, thin and thoughtful music producer from the small town of Arlington. She left to pursue a career in the arts in the city, but she realizes that her dreams were put on hold for a side job instead, and she returns home to plan her next move.
Gregory Ward is a rich CEO of a record company. He comes to his hometown to visit his mother on her birthday, and he happens upon Ann at a gas station just outside Arlington.
Ann ran out of gas on the highway, on her way home. It's snowing and dark. Gregory takes it upon himself to help her, and then leaves her in her car to drive home.
He then finds he can't stop thinking about her, so when he sees her again at Arlington's local diner, he takes it upon himself to get to know her better.
When Gregory notices an arrogant, shady rival to his company setting his eyes on Ann to exploit her dreams for a bright future and threatens to come between them, Gregory has to act fast. But will they ever find the splendid love that they deserve?
