Alexis prematurely declared war against Samira, the former queen of the Dark Court, and now must scramble to assemble her army. To be fair, the power-hungry blood-sucking vampire, left Alexis no choice after kidnapping her daughter and making moves to usurp the throne right out from under her.

With the impending war weighing heavily on everyone, Alexis reaches out to the other courts hoping to bolster her army and gain allies. Unfortunately, the other supernatural courts are out for blood too and are less than enthusiastic about bridging the gap between the royal courts.

Despite the increasing number of obstacles getting in her way, Alexis will tear them down one by one to rescue her daughter, secure her throne, and exact her revenge.
