Lady Emma Aston soon learns the truth of her late berothed as well of her father's plan to use her as a pawn to win the fortune's of another family. But it is the truth of Jack Winston himself that shatters her and rebuilds her anew. He is everything she could ever dream of in a man only plunged into the body of a traitor, thief, and pirate. To love him is to bring the wrath of the law upon her head. How many rules will she break to claim her own prize?

A Man in a Maelstrom

Jack Winston is the youngest son of an earl and now, after the death of his familty, the destitute only son. He has no intention of becoming a pirate but his anger burns too deep not to cross the lines. And then he meets Emma. What should be so easy now becomes heart-wrenching, and that she refuses to accept the obvious, more wrenching still..

Will they wrest the storm within and without, or both will go down with the ship, dragging everything they hold dear down with them?
