An Island Paradise
Daniel Balkwill
Lewis Reed, a young Briton, jets out to Seychelles after securing a new job at the tourism academy. When he arrives he meets a stunning Seychellois woman called Veronique.
He embarks on a journey of adventure and romance. Fascinating discoveries along the way arrive in the form of a loveable but mischievous dog, unusually shaped coconuts, the erroneously named Seychelles black parrot and the local ladies’ baffling overdependence on animal print clothing. These are only a few of the many quirks and foibles of island life observed from the perspective of an expat living in an extraordinary Indian Ocean nation.
