Death and Fairies by Cristal Crowley
The God’s Woods is not a place for mortal beings. The King is ruthless and cruel. The fae will enslave you, goblins will eat you, and the wild magic of the forest will torment you. Or so they’re taught.

Raised in a village that teaches its people to fear the God’s Woods and its residents, Kit joins his best friends Ro and Elias on a quest to save the life of their unborn child. He expects danger, monstrous creatures with unfathomable powers, and an increased likelihood of death, dismemberment, or worse. What he finds instead is a handsome, socially awkward man with a penchant for navigating the forest and handling its creatures.

Intrigued and more than a little interested in the shy but friendly Victor, Kit does his best to get to know the new addition to their party. However, the God’s Woods hasn’t earned its reputation without reason and there are things Kit has yet to understand or accept. When all is revealed, will Kit embrace the possibilities that unfold before him? Or will he reject new prospects in favor of old fears?
