Love in the Low Country by Debby Mayne
Four contemporary romances in the deep south!

LOVE IN THE NEWS
News anchor Carrie Marshall and hardware store owner Jonathan Hanks are going about their daily lives, when Jonathan’s 7-year-old son Evan decides it’s time to play matchmaker after seeing her on TV. It’s not easy, but he’s pretty crafty at coming up with a plan. Jonathan sees through it right away, but it takes Carrie a little longer to realize what’s happening. After both of the adults know what’s going on, is there any chance of them falling for his plan … and falling in love?

LOVE AT THE HUG A MUG
Bailey Hatcher is flattered when Scott Nixon's great aunt matchmaker brings them together at the Hug-a-Mug coffee shop. However, when Bailey eventually realizes that the woman's scheme is less about romance and more about reconciling something that happened many years ago between their parents, she loses trust. Each time Bailey visits her favorite coffee shop, something happens to make her question her own heart's desires. Is there any way Bailey and Scott can love each other without being disloyal to their parents?

NEVER TOO LATE
Stephanie is about to get married to someone who swept her off her feet in college. However, once the music starts playing she realizes that if she goes through with it, she'll be making the biggest mistake in her life.

Derrick calls himself a Christian, but he is more interested in what his family's money can buy than his faith. So she changes her mind and leaves the church with her old high school best friend Alyssa.

Her parents are furious, but there are a couple of people—her best friend Alyssa and her high school crush Brandon Walker—who understand. Alyssa saves her from messing up her life, and Brandon becomes her sounding board. They used to hang out together as friends before she left for college, and now they see each other in a completely different light. Will they remain friends, or will romance take over?

UNRAVELED HEARTS
As Ruby and Antonio get ready for their 10-year high school reunion, some of their old feelings rise to the surface. Ruby had a crush on him throughout high school, but he was always with Marla who showered him with homemade gifts, including cupcakes, cookies, and sweaters that she knitted for him. How can Ruby who doesn’t have a domestic bone in her body ever compete with that? Maybe she should take up knitting. It can’t be too hard, can it?

What Antonio sees in Ruby is a beautiful woman who makes everyone around her smile. Back in high school, he never got the nerve to ask her out because she always seemed too refined for someone like him. But now that he owns a chain of restaurants, he feels that he has more to offer someone like her. All he has to do is convince her—and her parents—that he’s good enough for her. Is this possible, considering the fact that her old boyfriend seems to still be in the picture?
