Blame It On Cupid by Jacquie D'Alessandro
Blame it on Cupid (original title Blame in on Karma), is a contemporary romantic comedy novella, and was first published in 2007 as part of a Valentine’s Day anthology entitled Jinxed!. Coffee shop owner Lacey Perkins scoffs when a fortune-teller informs her that her Fate and Destiny, her Mr. Right is the arrogant, annoying, uptight property manager where her shop is located. That crazy fortune-teller couldn’t be more wrong! Evan Sawyer may be gorgeous, but he’s also a stick-to-the-rules thorn in her side, always giving her a hard time about her provocative window displays. He’s the last man Lacey would ever call Mr. Right…
Evan can’t believe what that crazy fortune-teller told him: that bend-every-rule Lacey Perkins is his Destiny. No way. Sure, she’s gorgeous and sexy, but she’s sooo not the woman for him. The fortune-teller also told him that if he tries to fight Destiny, he’ll end up cursed. How ridiculous is that? Good thing he doesn’t believe in such nonsense.
But then some very strange things start happening…
After being out of print for a decade, I’m delighted to be able to re-publish this story. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Wishing you much good health, happiness, and of course, romance.
Best regards,
Jacquie D’Alessandro
