Crack Shot Beauty For The Lonely Lawman (Fortune In Ely Series) by Elliee Atkinson
A handsome lawman…a beautiful newcomer…and an old score to settle…

Becky Jensen has been a sharpshooter since she was just seven years old, often compared to the likes of Annie Oakley. However, her family has been nomadic since she can remember, so she’s never really been able to make friends or find true love. Now that her family has chosen to settle in the small town of Ely, Nevada, she knows that life is a wide open book, just ready for her to have new adventures.

Soon after arriving with her parents, brothers, and sister-in-law, she discovers that her sharpshooting skills might come in handy. There’s a competition in town, and a certain handsome lawman has need of her skills on his team. It might be a way to connect with the stranger she’s found a spark with, but a hard case from a nearby county stands in the way of her future happiness.

The Deputy with a Grudge

Neal Cartwright, one of Ely’s deputies, is more than just another man with a badge in a small town. He takes his job seriously, loves the citizens of Ely, and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe. That includes watching closely over them when the annual shooting competition takes place. His team has placed high for years, but the tough men from Red Line Ranch have managed to beat them for more than half a decade.

When a new family comes to town, Neal realizes that his luck just might be changing. Their daughter is also a crack shot, and her accuracy and speed might be just the boon he needs to win this competition finally. However, there’s more to her than meets the eye, and if her brothers don’t object, Neal soon realizes that he needs her in his life for more than a teammate.

A Deadly Competition

The Red Line men are not just in it for the bragging rights though. They want to win at any cost, and will do anything to secure their place as number one yet again. That includes eliminating the competition, especially the sharpshooter Becky Jensen. Becky quickly finds herself in more trouble than she bargained for, and only the handsome deputy can save her now!

Will Becky find a way to escape the Red Line threat without her guns, brothers, or a backup plan? Should she really put her trust in the handsome deputy—who she’s heard already gave his heart to another woman?

Can Neal save the woman who’s finally caught his lonely eye—or will her brothers put a stop to the relationship before it can begin? After all, why should they trust him with their only sister?
