The Favor: The Blooms of Norfolk by Angelina Jameson
Lord Peake has seen what frivolous behavior can do to a family. After his father nearly bankrupts the family and his brother dies as the result of a prank, the viscount vows to never succumb to lighthearted behavior. His dour demeanor is not an asset on the marriage mart.

Lady Lottie hides her insecurities behind a vivacious personality so most of society thinks she’s a feather-brain. Despite tragedy in her past, Lottie looks for the best in every occasion, unless that occasion includes her brother’s friend Lord Peake.

Peake needs a favor from Lottie. The lady he means to court next season has a personality much like Lady Lottie’s: vivacious and thus extremely irritating. Lady Lottie needs a distraction from a boring season and the recent changes in her brother’s household. She agrees to help Peake become used to lively females and more comfortable in society. As the days go by Peake discover appearances can be deceiving and Lottie realizes one favor could lead to a lifetime of happiness.
