Barefoot, Pregnant & An Evil Villainess by Madison McCall
If you liked Barefoot, Pregnant & A Double Knot Spy then you’re sure to enjoy this sequel to the original book.

Our heroine, Mattie Powers has just returned from maternity leave and is getting back in the swing of things at ACE (American Counterintelligence & Espionage) when she and her partner Jill Lindstrom are given an assignment to head out to California to investigate the disappearance of the country’s first flying saucer (spaceship) along with one of the scientists who developed it, Dr. Jason Fuller.

After arriving in Palm Springs, they head to the resort where the missing scientist liked to vacation, which just happens to be the same place the president of the company that built the spaceship is vacationing, Dirk Reagan.

Befriending Mr. Reagan in the hotel bar the girls soon find themselves invited to a private pool party which is like no other they’ve been to in their lives, and they find themselves baring a lot more than their souls during the event. While socializing with other guests they quickly discover that a member of S-C-A-T, an international organization whose goal is world domination, is present which means a lot more is going on than they even imagined.

Join Mattie, Jill & Zack to find out if they are able to save the world or if the planet is destined to be taken over by the Society for Chaos, Anarchy & Terrorism.

A stand-alone romantic comedy with a great ending that is sure to tickle your funny bone.
