Salvation: An MC Romance by Elise St. George
As I sit in this jail cell, I realize I’m a complete mess and I need to get my life together. None of my bunkmates would understand all the pain I’ve been through, and they probably wouldn’t believe that I’m in law school right now. It doesn’t matter though. My mother took my child from me, and I’m not sure I’ll ever recover from that. I’m pregnant again, and she’ll probably petition the court to take my new child.

I’ve never had a drug problem, and I don’t have mental health issues but apparently, she doesn’t feel like I can take care of a child, which is laughable coming from a woman who pawned her own children off on her husband while she reached her ultimate career goals. Whatever. Fuck her. Honestly, it really just feels like I’ve hit a string of bad luck until I meet him. He’s everything my mother would approve of on the inside and the exact opposite on the outside….but he’s my salvation.
