Emotionally drained after facing false accusations and the subsequent loss of her job, Paris Cutler returns to her grandmother’s home in Destiny, California, a charming mountain town once a part of the Gold Rush. Paris is seeking to recover and regroup. She does not plan to fall in love and does not want to stay. Her old high school crush has plans of his own, plans that include Paris, and his arguments are highly persuasive.
