Barefoot, Pregnant & A Time Traveler by Madison McCall
After just returning from his father’s funeral Steve Hargrove finds out that his younger brother Mark recently talked their dad into leaving the entire family fortune to him, and thus, he ends up with nothing.

Returning to work Steve makes it through the week and then settles in for a quiet weekend at home. While watching a scientific television program on time travel, he becomes obsessed with the concept and decides that his purpose in life is to build a device that will let him travel across time itself.

After many months of work, he builds his machine and travels into the past to eradicate his younger brother from history by making sure that Mark is never born. Returning to the present he almost instantly discovers that his computations were off and not only did he get rid of his brother, who is now his sister, but he has also accidentally aborted himself and on top of that he is now a young woman instead of a man.

Now Stephanie, an Assistant Professor of English, he must begin a new life as a female in the parallel timeline that he, now she, created out of her desire to exact revenge. After discovering that her parents are now alive and well, she struggles with two questions. Build another time machine and return to the past and correct the mistake that brought her here, which would result in her mother and father once again being erased from history or stay here as a female and keep her mom and dad.

You will love this world-class stand-alone story by Madison McCall which will leave you feeling good when you turn the last page.
