Praying for a good man then actually getting one were two totally different things. In her mind, her world would be complete if that happened, so naturally, when it did, she was happy but then came fear. Fear of what the future would hold, or whether or not she was even good enough for her answered prayers.

Lucky for her, Jerrico Blake is well equipped and intently focused on Goody and every need she has. A man with many honorable traits, Jerrico is a Godsend, but he’s not to be taken lightly.
