This second book features Joy Petersheim's story and the "fruit" of Joy.

An insecure young man, Gideon, has come to work on the Petersheim farm. He is never content with what he has, continually changing jobs and looking for happiness. It's only when he gets to know Joy Petersheim, while working on her family's farm that he starts to realize that joy is a choice.

Although he doesn't enjoy his job at the farm, he has developed strong feelings for her. And despite his insecurities, Joy sees his good heart and falls in love with him. But a job offer from another state tempts him to chase greener pastures, and he knows this is the opportunity he has waited his whole life for. However, a sudden circumstance occurs, and now he must decide what's more important. Will he choose contentment where he's at despite the situation or the green grass on the other side of the fence?
