The Bear Shifter’s Protector by Martha Woods

What do you do if you’re on the run from a clan of shifters after breaking out of prison?

Well, obviously you sit around the house with your equally wanted brother, complaining about the heat and the inconvenience of not being able to run away to somewhere colder, of course!

It’s been a few weeks living under the watchful protection of their guardians, and the time in the state of Florida is starting to grind on them. Heat that seems to seep right beneath the skin, moisture that leaves them damp twenty-four hours a day, Megan is close to committing another homicide and Shane isn’t far away from joining her.

But just because you might be wishing for something to happen, doesn’t necessarily mean you actually want it to happen, and when they find their lives in danger yet again, they aren’t very far from just giving into the madness.

But the sight of a familiar face, one that used to be involved with Shane intimately, is one that might just prove to be the thing to help them see some way through the storm. Because as it turns out, they are far from the only people with a grudge against the clans.
