Apache Terror: Massacre at Watchman Creek: Book One by Jeff Breland
Apache Terror: Massacre at Watchman Creek will be a series of monthly short stories. it begins as a group of Comancheros deliver contraband to a renegade Indian named Black Wolf. Black Wolf is very pleased with the mules the Comancheros have brought him to sweeten the deal. The fact they killed the owners of the animals doesn't bother him nor the leader of the Comancheros. Now Black Wolf wants something even more valuable than the mules. The renegade leader wants white women. The leader of the Comancheros has no intentions of becoming involved in such a dangerous and foolhardy folly until one of his number inadvertently mentions where they have seen a number of white women. They had seen them as they were traveling across the Circle W, a large ranch located on Watchman Creek. That is all Black Wolf needs to know. The Comancheros will show him the way and he will do the rest. Out of fear for their lives, the Comancheros agree. The result is nothing short of devastating. Not only do the renegades kill the owners of the ranch, but they also burn most of it down and kidnap four women who are part of the owners' family. Black Wolf doesn't know it but there are people coming after him and it's not just the cavalry.
